Room in 3bd/1bath apt - Sept 1st move in!
We are looking for a female-identifying roommate to join our apartment!
A bit about the place: it’s a 3 bed, 1 bath apartment in a quiet neighborhood on the border of Brighton and Brookline. We are a short walk to 3 of the green lines (B, C, and... D) and are also within walking distance from 3 grocery stores (Whole Foods, Star Market, and Trader Joe’s). Included are pictures of our living room, hallway, bathroom, kitchen, and the bedroom that you’d be taking over.
Monthly costs are $1,074 for rent and roughly $25 for electric, $5 for gas, and $43 for Wi-Fi. There’s laundry in the basement that you can pay for via an app (~$3 per load). There is also a laundromat nearby.
A little about us:
Hilary is 35 and works in Higher Ed. She primarily works at home and spends a lot of time in her room/office. She enjoys music, reading, writing, sitcoms, and going for long walks outside.
Astride is 29, working outside the home in Libraries and in grad school. She spends most of her time reading in her room or outside when it's nice weather.
Overall, both of us are extremely respectful of people’s time and spaces. We implement a weekly rotating cleaning schedule of the 3 common areas of the apartment that we would like to stick to when we take on the next roommate. We’re also very communicative, so if there are any issues at all (rarely happens), neither of us have an issue with reaching out to the others to let them know! We'd love our third roommate to be kind, clean, and courteous, and we're looking for someone who is of post-grad age (so, age 24 and up).
