Comfortable furnished bedroom for female tenant in beautiful home, near BC and BU.

Our home offers two furnished bedrooms available for rent to students and visiting scholars from Boston-area universities, including Boston College and Boston University. The bedrooms are located on the second floor of the house and are fully... furnished with a comfortable bed and mattress, a desk with an office chair, storage cabinets, and a closet. The two tenants share one bathroom on that floor.

Tenants have full access to the kitchen and dining room. The house is smoke-free. The location offers an easy commute to the Longwood Medical Area, Boston University, Boston College, Harvard University, and Brookline. High-speed internet is included in the rent. Utilities (electricity and heat) typically range between $65–$75 per month per tenant.

My wife and I live in a separate apartment in the house. We are both educators working at independent schools in the Boston area. We welcome inquiries from individuals of diverse backgrounds, including people of color, international students and academics, and individuals of all genders and sexual orientations.

In our home we value friendliness, mutual respect, and a calm living environment. Creating a comfortable atmosphere depends on everyone being considerate of one another, and we strive to foster that spirit.

If you are interested, please be prepared to schedule a brief Zoom meeting so we can get to know each other. If it seems like a good fit, I will send you a Rental Information Form (a non-binding document where you share your basic information), which I will use to prepare the lease. The next step is signing the lease agreement.

To secure the rental, the first payment is $1,100 (last month’s rent). Upon moving in, tenants pay the first month’s rent and a $450 security deposit.
