Large bedroom in 1,800 sq ft apartment (Washington Square) available June 10th through Augu

Large bedroom in a beautiful 1,800 sq ft apartment in Washington Square — $1,333/month, available starting June 10–August 31

Available: flexible start date beginning June 10, 2026 (with option for a continued full-time lease upon meeting with...
roommates)
Rent: $1,333/month
Location: 12 University Road, Brookline, MA, 02445

Space/Location: This spacious 1,800 square feet apartment is a three bedroom, two bath. In addition to the bedrooms and bathrooms, there is a large living room that opens onto a full dining room. The apartment also has a butler's pantry, large kitchen, and additional room, as well as a porch that looks out over Washington Square.

You would have a large bedroom with a massive bay window (see photos attached!).

The apartment is steps away from Washington Square (<1 min) and also close to the B and D (7 min) Green Lines. Easy commuting to BC, BU, downtown Boston, and other places of interest.

Laundry: In the basement and shared with just two other units.

Utilities: Trash, recycling, and water are all included. Wifi, electricity, and gas comes to about 60-75$/month. Total price with utilities would be expected to be around or just under $1,400/month.

Security Deposit:
$500 security deposit. No broker fee or other charge outside of the three months of rent (with June prorated).

Roommates:
You would share the apartment with two roommates and a cat: a current PhD student (F, 30s) and a recent Boston College PhD graduate (M, early 30s). The cat (F, 6 years) is a friendly indoor cat who hangs out in the common spaces and loves being pet!

They are looking for someone who is considerate, has experience sharing a living space with others, LGBTQ+ friendly, and willing to build a supportive and safe environment. All prospective roommates are welcome.

Option for Yearly Lease:
Depending on conversations with the current roommates, there may be a possibility to also sign a new lease for the upcoming year (beginning September 1st). Please note that the current room for sublease may not be available upon renewal, as a current roommate may switch rooms in September.

DM if interested, sharing a bit about yourself and what you are looking for in an apartment and roommates. I’ll put you in touch with the current roommates if we think it might be a good match!
