This studio comes with a fantastic location. The Chestnut Hill Avenue Station on the B line is right in front of the building, and the closest stations on the C and D lines are within a 10-minute walk. There are two closest BC shuttle stops, 3... minutes by walk. The neighborhood is really safe, even late at night.
The building is old but very clean and well-maintained. The unit was renovated in Summer 2024, right before the current tenant began the lease. Although it's a studio, it feels quite spacious because the kitchen is separated from the main living area.
The building is managed by a property management company, very responsive to maintenance requests. Since all leases are handled through the company, you'll need to write a formal contract even for subletting.
The apartment is fully furnished with a bed, desk, chair, fan, small dining table and chairs, fridge, stove, microwave, drawers, and two built-in closets. You're welcome to use the pans, pots, dishes, plates, and cooking utensils. However, you'll need to bring your own personal items such as bed sheets, pillows, duvets, and towels.
Unfortunately, undergraduates are not allowed due to the apartment policy.
